yoga conditioning

Yoga Conditioning is an asana-based strength class. The intention of each session is to strengthen your muscles and build endurance. You will move through multiple asanas (yoga poses) and utilize the weight of your body (or option to use 1-3lb weights) to strengthen your body and challenge your mind.

The room is heated to 80 but there will be no shortage of sweat! This class has playlists curated to empower you and make you want to move. You may also know this format as “yoga sculpt”, however, we’re taking the focus off of body aesthetics and onto your ability to become stronger and FEEL good!

1-3lb Weights are available to rent in-studio ($4 per rental).

It is our recommendation to be familiar with common Asanas before taking Yoga Conditioning, however, you know your body best and ample cueing is provided in each class.

yin yoga

The intention of this class is to bring greater range of motion and strength to the connective tissue. In this class you can expect to be taking poses on the floor for 3-5 minutes at a time. The room is cooled off to 75 degrees. There will be soft music and twinkle lights to create a comfortable environment for stillness.

Yin yoga is a slower paced flow that works all of the connective tissue of the body. This is a great practice to improve joint mobility and strength as well as working on calming the nervous system down.

We ask that you bring your own props to class: bolster, blocks, blanket(s). Utilization of these props help promote safer and stronger poses. The studio will have limited props available to use.

power yoga

Power Yoga is a high-energy practice that emphasizes strength, flexibility, and stamina. This class involves a steady flow from pose to pose, synchronized with breath, to create a dynamic and fluid experience. This style of asana  boosts cardiovascular health, while also improving balance and core stability.

Expect to finish the session feeling strong, rejuvenated, and invigorated. This class is inspired by the Journey Into Power sequence. This  means you can expect to move through a similar sequence each class. The room will be heated to 90 Degrees.

yin to vin

Yin to Vin is a fusion of elements from both Yin and Vinyasa styles of yoga – sometimes referred to as Yinyasa . The longer held Yin poses will focus on working the connective tissue while the dynamic style of Vinyasa (flow) will warm up and challenge the muscles in the body. The intention of this class is to gain space in the body and energetic focus in the mind.

The class will start with a short meditation followed by several Yin poses. The sequence will then start to transition to a Vinyasa style flow preparing you for the rest of your day.

Props such as blocks, bolsters, straps, and blankets will be used to support your body throughout the class. We ask that you bring in your own props to class. The studio will provide a limited number of props that will be available for use.
